Description
Nadia Birkenstock’s “Valse dans les Vignes” is an original composition for solo lever or pedal harp.
Inspired by the lush and rolling vineyards of Alsace in France, this piece mixes an overall feel of “Joie de Vivre” with classical elements and some interesting major/minor key changes.
This is a great piece for students to work on left hand technique (placing, agility, smoothness, independence) ; more advanced harpists can enjoy it as a vivid, uplifting concert piece with some virtuoso elements.
