“I wrote this little piece for a french student of mine, whose sister was about to do her first fashion show and had asked her if she could play harp music along with it.
I thought the idea was awesome, and I wrote this kind of ambiant music that starts rhythmical and later then has a more impressionistic touch.
The idea was that each musical part could be extended, shortened, repeated easily because the harpist had to keep an eye on the models that appeared on the runway.”
